Felicity Jones was born and raised in Britain and is most well-known as the actress who played Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since the age of 12 and has worked in multiple movies and television shows. Jones made her debut as an actress with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has been in a variety of films. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she made a name for herself in her role. However, it was the performance she gave in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones was Stephen Hawking's second wife this biopic, received plenty of praise from the critics and viewers due to the manner in which she portrayed her. Inferno with Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. In 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones as the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to the cinema.
