When I had a baby at my side and other children with me in the cradle worked 12 hours a day grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! Ha! It all started to seem logical, however it wasn't quite finished. It would take lots of time and a love to shop. To stay within my budget, I took my boys along with me as I searched for hidden treasures at estate sales. Each week we would spend between Thursday and Saturday in garage sales and estate sales, buying old and new furniture. Then I painted and sanded the driveway during the workweek. I had an area at the market where I sold objects. In the end, I had numerous pieces that I did not know what to do and my storage space was a mess. The number of people who visited my home in just one weekend to buy everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was created in this home. While my company grew as did our family. In some ways, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom and launching my venture. Growing Days seemed like the ideal fit. The year 2013 was the year my daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. It was a great direction for my company, but I also needed a vacation. I decided to take some time off from my vintage furniture and be at home with my children. That was exactly what I needed at the moment. In the course of a few months, my phone started to start to. There were calls from people asking me to help them with decorating their homes and interiors. Most of these people were people who had been through my property during open house for furniture! I started taking on some clients at a time going at my own pace but it didn't take for long to have numerous accounts and had a complete home renovation business. When you first told me about my business in home renovation, I laughed. As I reflect on the situation I am laughing.
